MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international breakthroughs into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his debut full-length album. This album peaked at eighteen places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo is from a musical background, both his parents and brother are also musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. He was taught how to play guitar, saxophone the ukulele and piano when he was when he was a child. At first, he wanted to become Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take lessons with a Cuban singer, he changed career plans.
